Young Adults and Retired

These are dogs we are actively seeking homes for. They’re ready to start new adventures immediately and are just waiting for the right comfy couch to come along.

Logan

Logan is a fun-loving dog! He’s brimming with confidence and has never met a practical joke he didn’t enjoy. He fancies himself quite the comedian — though his antics often amuse him more than anyone else. Fearless and joyful, Logan has a way of lighting up every room he enters. He does have a good amount of energy and drive, so he will thrive in a home prepared for an active companion, with nice potential for performance venues such as agility, obedience, herding, and more for a family interested in pursuing those activities with him.

Logan has sired two beautiful litters for us, and it’s now time for him to move on and enjoy a life of leisure. He was bred by the late Lily Russell of Tango Collies, and after Lily’s unexpected passing in 2023, we traveled to Iowa to ensure he had a soft place to land. We hope she would be proud of Logan’s development and his contributions as a sire.

Logan has no health issues. He is MDR1 M/M, DMS AAbb, and has a go-normal eye check. These results have no impact on his health beyond the typical MDR1 medication awareness recommended for Collies.

Barb

Barb is a 7½ year old (born 09/24/2018) with plenty of life and love left to give! She’s a retired champion looking for a very special retirement home where she can continue enjoying a comfy couch and simply be a family’s beloved girl.
Barb is sweet, affectionate, and absolutely adores kids. She is house-trained, crate-trained, and very much prefers the indoor life (furniture privileges are non-negotiable, according to Barb.)

As the dam of one exceptional litter, Barb has done her job beautifully and is now ready to enjoy life as the center of someone’s world. Barb is healthy and ready to settle into the next chapter with a family who will love spoiling her as much as she deserves.

Barb does have a bit of wanderlust and can be an escape artist, so she will need a home committed to secure outdoor management — a very secure fence (she goes under or through gaps, not over!) and/or leash walks with supervision. She also isn’t a fan of rain or thunderstorms.

If you think Barb might be the perfect fit for your home, feel free to reach out. A family with children who would be thrilled to have their very own “Lassie” would be a dream for Barb 💗

Retiring Soon

These dogs are not ready to leave just yet, as they still have commitments in our program. We begin seeking their future homes early so the perfect match is ready when retirement time arrives.
