🐾 Ceilidh had a great time in Batesville, MS at the Dog Days of Summer Cluster! We met every goal we had for this show and had a blast with our friends.
On the first day, Satire took the 5-point major to finish her championship! Introducing—
💅 AKC pending CH Ceilidh’s Tell Me About It 💅
(GCH Ceilidh’s Celtic Legend “Cullain” × CH Ceilidh’s Sculpted in Snow “Flurry“)
She finished with three owner-handled 5-point majors! We adore this girl and are so excited for what’s next. She made her debut as a special today and did beautifully—looking fantastic thanks to her incredible grooming team, Hailey and Lisé 🩵

On Friday, Lisé’s girl Sunny also finished her championship with a major!
☀️ AKC pending CH Moonwind Light Up The Sky ☀️
(GCH Ceilidh’s Celtic Legend “Cullain” × CH Ceilidh ‘N Moonwind’s At The Stroke of Midnight “Punky“)
We’re absolutely thrilled for her—she’s received high praise from some incredibly respected breeder-judges, and we’re so proud to see her mature and remember all the dogs behind her.

The rest of the crew included our young and coatless girls, who were mostly out to gain experience—and they certainly thought they were stars of the show. 🤣 They had a great time and might need a little more age before taking on another four-day cluster without access to a yard, but it was a great learning weekend for them.
Bibi, another Cullain puppy, had a great attitude and placed in her class multiple times—beating other dogs (lol)—but after long days crated and dodging the heat, her excitement got the best of her today. We are obsessed with our entertainer!

Caffeine was barely hanging onto a single stitch of hair, but we wanted to give her another outing for practice. The kraken has officially been unleashed—she’s very enthusiastic about the show environment and will need a little more polish before she’s ring-ready. We’re happy with how she’s maturing despite blowing coat in the middle of a heat wave and her 1st birthday. We’re looking forward to seeing her adult coat come in and getting her back in the ring soon.

Laa-Laa went out for the first time since she was six months old and was well-received by the judges—no majors just yet, but she remembered what to do and looked great. We’re excited to get her out to more shows soon!

All in all, it was a fantastic weekend for our girls and the Collie community. It felt like almost everyone hit a milestone or checked off a goal, and we had so much fun cheering each other on.
Next stop: A quick turnaround and we’re off to Oklahoma with a couple smooth girls, ready for more friends, 5-point majors, and fiery temperatures!
