Finally getting around to summarizing our fantastic weekend at the Jackson, TN Cluster!

This show has quickly become a favorite—last year was our first time attending, and this year’s return was just as fun! Between the beautiful show site, great luck in the ring, and the friendliest exhibitors and spectators, it looks like Jackson will be a permanent fixture on our schedule.

We brought a group of girls for experience (and fun!) ahead of the CCA Nationals, and almost everyone took home something, making the weekend a huge success! Both varieties had 5-point majors, which was thrilling, and we were excited to see so many wonderful dogs there.

In Roughs:

🏆 WB/BOW x2 – “Satire” Ceilidh’s Tell Me About It
🥈RWB – “Bibi” Ceilidh’s Wych Hunt
🥈RWB – “Disney” Ceilidh’s Where Dreams Come True

🧊Caffeine” Ceilidh’s Iced Coffee (co-owned with Tez Bryars) got some long looks, but as a newcomer, trotting on lead was a concept she’s still pondering. Stacking and standing? A breeze. Trotting? Overrated (according to her). She gave it a go with her tail wagging but was convinced slow and steady should win the race. We were very happy with her first time in the ring!

In Smooths:

🏆 WB/BOW – “Pumpkin” Ceilidh’s Bless the Reign (owned by Collies of Wych)
In the same show,
🥈RWB – “Cailín” Ceilidh’s Heathered Horizon

We are incredibly proud of these littermates and thrilled with the consistency across the litter!

And the biggest highlight:
Their dam, Reign, made sure she wasn’t outshined by her daughters—
🏆 WB to make her (AKC pending) CH Ceilidh’s Long Live the Queen! 👑

At nearly 3 years old, Reign has finished her championship! She finished with almost all majors (and one lonely single, lol) and has received some fantastic compliments and evaluations from highly respected breeders. We’re excited to watch her continued maturing and can’t wait for her next chapter.

A massive thank you to everyone who stepped up to lend a hand when we needed it—taking our girls back in or offering help, we truly appreciated it. Everyone made the experience a great one for our young, inexperienced puppies!

Next stop: 🍿✨ CCA Nationals in Syracuse, NY! ✨🍿

We can’t wait to see everyone there and present our dogs to the fancy. Unfortunately, we have to leave on Thursday, but we’ll make the most of our short time. Safe travels to all heading that way!
